About the CampaignBeat the Streets – Baltimore was founded in 2011 and partners with Baltimore City Public Schools to organize after-school wrestling and community programs. Wrestling is used to ‘hook’ youth and young adult participants to engage them in their academic careers and personal development. Beat the Streets – Baltimore has served Baltimore communities for over ten years providing after-school and summer programming that serve over 300 youth annually.
Provide a single BTS Baltimore youth wrestler with the opportunity to participate in local, regional and national wrestling tournaments including room & board and roundtrip transportation.
Provides a tutoring and mentoring support system for a young wrestler. This level of support system is designed to help each wrestler improve their decision-making abilities, build healthy identity formation, and maximize their potential.
Help provide our youth wrestlers with sustainable, certified and trained coaches Empower a village through coaching.
